anything new on postpolio??

this is really a drag. i cannot walk, in a wheelchair, have pain all the time, fatigue, weakness in striated muscles, am starting to have trouble with breathing. i had a VERY mild case of polio in the '40s, was not even seen by a doctor then. was seen much later for deformities in legs, feet, etc. did exercises, no problem.

was a dancer for 40 years and a medical professional, long shifts, very strenuous. thought nothing of a 3 mile walk on weekends..

i can't find anything new on this, but no longer have hospital access to professional databases.
