Treatment for arachnoid cysts is usually symptomatic. In your case, were there accompanying symptoms when it was diagnosed or was the SA cyst an incidental finding, as is commonly the case?  Symptomatology is usually determined not only by the size of the cyst but also of its location.  When symptoms warrant it, surgical placement of a shunt to decompress the cyst may be required.

what does asymptomatic mean
is the vermus the cerebellum in different word.
what does the vermus "cerbellum" actually do.

ok i try and explain this way
everyone got right side and left side of brain then there is where the neck meats up.if u find a pic there is a gap everyone supose too have a gap.i dont that is where my cyst sits and it gets bigger never smaller also i deal with csf "dont ask me" the cyst had caused slight displacement of the vermus "1990's" how much displacement now i dont know.

am i right the cyst when it gets bigger effects right and left side?
