arachnoidiis

by katbrat4, Nov 19, 2008 05:09PM
I have adhesive arachnoiditis  I was diagnosed two years ago however I am certainI have had it for 5 to 7 years after a dye  from mylegram leaked. I had a heart  attack four days after i turned 50 in May Of this year. I was told it was due to my left ventricle being week the diagnosis was Takasudo syndrom (syndrome) broken heart Syndrome. I was told that that it was brought because of the pain from the ARAC. I spoke with my Dr and we increased my pain meds and I have not anymore symptoms and the cardiologist said the ultrasound showed that things were improving. Whatever that means since noone has has really be able to give me a really clear understanding of this syndrome.
I recently had a very bad kidney infection and possible kidney stone. I have never had   kidney problems.
Can you tell me if the Arac could be involved with this and most recently ten days after taking antibiotics for kidney infection; I have had a horriblerash onmy neck and throat.
Can You help me

please look up "apical ballooning syndrome"(ABS)--the article in the CIRCULATION article is very helpful.

Let just throw out--the physical condition of AA is not related to the ABS--AA is a result of some trauma---surgery or chemical--but it is the body laying down a fine mesh--like a spider-web--that entangles nerves and tethers down structures such that they do not move freely as before the insult and also revieve less circulation and nourishment as they are restricted in every sense of the word.

SO the only relationship b/w AA & ABS is the stress factor--if the AA is causing that much pain then one could say they are related--but not in a direct sense that the AA is the condition that is causing the ABS--the AA and resultant PAIN may bring about the ABS.

Is that any assistance?

Beta-blockers are helpful with ABS--are you on any?
