Hi.
Your symptoms are not specific enough to specifically consider a cardiovascular or neurologic disorder. Is the pain you experience in the muscles or in the joints (such as the knee)? Does the fatigue worsen as the day goes on? Any visual symptoms such as double vision?
I would advise you to initially consult a cardiologist to fully assess your cardiovascular status. If nothing is found, you could consult a neurologist to check your symptoms.
While it may not be indicated yet, lifestyle modification, such as changing to a more balanced and healthier diet, and limiting coffee and beer intake, would certainly be beneficial to your overall health status.
I'm a 39 yr old male. The only doctors I have seen is my family doctor and my allergy doctor. I had blood work done and a chest x-ray. Also a breathing test. Every so often I feel the need to take an extra deep breath like the bottom of my lungs aren't getting any air. I don't have trouble breathing when I'm lying down. No dizziness! Just fatigue and numbness/arms and legs a sleep(very heavy like lead in my blood) Some slight chest pain. I have excellent blood pressure. I'm a runner and having trouble run long distances now. I can't run more than 3-4 miles now & still train everyday. Should I change my diet, stop coffee, stop drinking beers, I'm a non smoker..... I find that hot baths make me feel better. This has been going on for 11 months and I'm so frustrated. What to do ??????????
It might be helpful to give a little more information about you and the tests that were performed. How old are you? Who have you consulted and what tests have been done? Do you have trouble breathing when lying down? If so, how many pillows do you need under your head when sleeping? Do you have any other symptoms such as dizziness? I would be premature at this time to say whether your condition is of a neurologic or cardiovascular nature.
