back and hips

I have a problem, my back really aches constantly, i get stuck and am unable to get back up unless i roll over on to my knees and some how get out of the position, but its scarey and extremely painfull when it happens, i have a constant dull ache in my lower back and hips, i get pins and needles in my crotch area and the tops of my legs, my legs often feel heavy and my wrists fell stiff. im worried and only 28. can some one please help me !

Hi there.

These symptoms are most commonly due to stress, poor posture, and inadequate stretching during exercise.  However, other conditions that can result to these symptoms are rheumatoid arthritis (especially if there is wrist involvement), nerve root compression problems (bulging discs), or rarely, ankylosing spondilitis (usually stiffness in the morning at the lower back area and later may involve the whole spine).  I suggest you have this evaluated by your doctor since there are may possible causes for what you are experiencing, and hope than you can be free of this pain soon.  Regards and God bless.
