back pain for two years

I have had two  MRI's taken on 12/22/06 and another one  on 9/10/08  first they tell me I have a sciastic nerve and  I have had  two epidural also have had physical therapy three times. This all help some but never gets rid of the pain the MRI show  mile degenerative changes at all levels and the last show degenerative disks at L4-5 and L5-S1. also possible low-lying comus. ls-si a posterior annular tear is  demonstrated along the left aspect of disk. My dr say there is nothing that can be done for this please advise

kindly please advise me what to do i injured my back last year august 2014 while lifting gas cylinder,it was painful while sitting and standing and having muscle spasm while sitting,but magically pain was free at 6 mnths at february 2015,but due to mistake i went on running and again injured my back at march 2015,nw having same symptoms,please anyone please guide me plz
