back pain

for 2o days back pain started at lower end later the pain was going down to foot it was like tooth pain. The doctor took x-ray at loer back and all joints apper in good condition ,he recommended physotherapy and traction ,later the pain was reduced drastically and fell down to the back mussle of my left foot. Still i am not releaved yet? MRI will be done next visit .
q- how long it will take and waht kind of treatment can i receive.

Wait until you get the MRI. You probably have some impingement on the sciatica nerve. X-rays are not very useful for diagnosis. There are special exercises that are generally prescribed before considering a surgical option (usually a laminectomy).
