back pains

back pains

hi, 13 years ago (when I was 7) I had meningitis it started with a leg ache and then really bad back pains.  Firstly the doctors couldn't tell whats wrong with me after loads and loads of tests it was confirmed I had meningitis/leukaemia.
I had loads of lumbar punctures and bone marrows and I can still remember the pains they were excruciating!!
Its been a couple of months now and I am suffering from the same back pains I did when I had meningitis/leukaemia.  I have got myself checked from my G.P but she said there is nothing to worry about, but I am worried, because 13 years ago if the doctors in hospital were struggling to find out what was wrong with me how can a G.P tell at first sight???
So if you have a answer please let me know.  Thank You.
