below the knee...a trainwreck is happening

i'm 5'6 163lbs....husky build...solid...most of my weight is from the waist down...my feet overpronate and i've been diagnosed with tarsal tunnel and wear orthodics in my shoes...around 16 years ago i smashed my tailbone on the side of a waterpark ride...never saw a doctor...only a chiropractor and only just this year...so i don't know if all these below the waist problems are caused by the tailbone...i know there's nerves in there....   i'm going to my pcp next month for a yearly exam but i am going to bring up the problem i've been feeling in both my legs from the knee down...  the way i would describe it is my lower leg area hurts when pressed on...it's like it's all bruised but there's no bruise to see...that's how it hurts... i also notice the texture of my skin is diffferent than the rest of my body...skin is a bit "scaly" some spider veins but nothing excessive to my knowledge...my feet and hands are always freezing...i don't smoke...i quit 11 years ago and never looked back...i don't drink...i can walk and do low impact exercise but something doesn't feel right...i feel like my legs are not strong and that something is wrong.... i am shaky at times and forgetful as well... i am wondering is there is anything i can do at home to help this...and i worry that something is wrong with my oxygen/blood supply getting to my extremities...i don't want anything bad to happen but i was wondering if anyone has any advice or has a similar story....feel free to ask me any questions....   also curious if there are any blood test or medicine that makes your circulation better....or any vitamin suppliments that work....  thanks everyone :) tracy in pa

thank you for responding....sorry it took me a little wait to get back...it's not my knees that hurt...it's below the knees...i have not been evaluated for Lyme disease but i  will talk to my pcp in couple weeks...i appreicate all of your suggestions... :)  it is frustrating having these symptoms and not know why...my main concern if blood clots in the legs..
i went to my podiatrist yesterday (i have tarsal tunnel) and i wanted to ask him if this could be caused by the tt...he said no because it wouldn't be going up into my legs...  i really feel like it could be nerve damage from a previous accident at a water park...a long time ago...maybe it just took this long to develop... i failed to mention that i also feel that my hand grip is not as strong as it use be and that sometimes my arm area will get pins and needles as well....   the way i would describe it is that my extremitites feel "electric"
my poditrist is sending me to a chiropractor tommorrow...i will keep everyone posted on here in chance maybe someone is feeling the same as me.,..  thanks again :) tracy

"i am shaky at times and forgetful as well"

With your painful knees, forgetfullness, and since you live in PA, have you been evaluated for Lyme disease?

Well, the cold hands and feet and shakiness can be from your autonomic nervous system (worrying? anxiety?). It could also be hypercoagulation (thick blood), so you may want to have your doctor do a hypercoagulation panel. Hypercoagulation can be genetic, but diseases such as Lyme disease, tickborne diseases, and other diseases can cause hypercoagulation defects as well.
