bilateral diaphragm palsy

by dkm38, Jul 12, 2008 12:06PM
MY BROTHER WAS SUFFERING FROM CERVICAL. AFTER PHYSIOTHERAPY HE DEVELOPED BREATHING PROBLEM WHILE SLEEPING, AND HIS STOMACH WAS HAVING UP/DOWN MOVEMENTS . IT IS UNDERSTOOD BY DOCTOR AS    "BILATERAL DIAPHRAGM PALSY".     HE IS RELIEVED FROM CERVICAL PAINS TO SOME EXTENT. MRI SCAN CAN  NOT BE DONE BY DOCTOR  AS HE IS UNABLE TO SLEEP FOR MORE THAN A MINUTE IN FACE UP POSITION .

REQUESTED TO INFORM  WHICH TYPE OF TREATMENT  WILL HELP TO OVERCOME THIS DISEASE. WHETHER CURED BY EXERSISE/YOGA OR SURGERY.IF TREATMENT IS AVAILABLE WHERE IN INDIA?

This discussion is related to Bilateral Diaphragm Paralysis without trauma or surgery.
