Hi,

How are you?
The main side effects of birth control pills are irregular menstrual bleeding, migraines, thromboembolism, breast tenderness, nausea, spotting, weight gain, bloating, mood swings and dizziness.
Birth control pills can only increase pain and tenderness in existing breast lumps. They have on the contrary been found helpful in fibrocystic lumps in the breast.
Hope this answers your question.
