blackouts

I have been experiencing blackouts, I do not drink or use drugs.  I will have something on my mind that i have to do, and find out that i have already completed that task, but i have no recollection of it. Stuff like going to the store to buy milk, or paying my homeowners dues.  I am under a good deal of stress, I also have periods of severe dizziness.  I had a electrocardiogram this summer and everything was normal. The blackouts are happening more frequently, and it is pretty scary.  I dont have insurance so is there anything that I can do?

Hi, I would keep a journal of symptoms and frequency of "blackouts".  I know how scary and uncomfortable this is because it happens to me. My episodes are due to auto-immune problems. It does get worse when I am under alot of stress. I would suggest having bloodwork checked out or when you can, get an EEG. A neurologist does this. It is not painful, but does check for various conditions when you have dizziness, "black-outs". Good Luck
