blurry, watery vision, foggy head feeling

I am a 59 yr old white female, so far no health problems. I eat healthy and do moderate exercise. Always had low to medium blood pressure.
But have the past months noticed a blurry, watery vision, like  a film is over my eyes. Not when I wake up though, it seems to set in after breakfast and then be consistent. Also have a foggy head feeling, worst in the am and afternoon. To be able to function I have to drink coffee. Wake up early in the am, feel generally more fatigued and not on the go as my regular self.  I have no headaches or loss of balance.
Do not have health insurance but am scheduled at a health clinic in 3 wks.
Appreciate any information as it is worrysome. I spend a great deal of time in front of a computer and using my eyes as a photographer.
Is it advisable to first go to an eye doctor to measure eye pressure etc?

Hi there. It might be simple eyestrain due to overexposure to computer screen and long working hours. Brain fog also can be due stress and exhaustion. Consult an ophthalmologist to check for any errors of refraction. Consult a neurologist for investigating multiple sclerosis and fibromyalgia as the possible causes of brain fog and blurred vision. Take care.
