Orbital pseudotumor roof. Portions involve the frontal sinus. No extention into orbit. No edema. No def. intracranial extention. With contrast there is enhancement throughout...Possible paranasal sinus tumor or osseous tumor (lymphoma), or intra-osseous meningioma.
**Later, I have a nuclear medicine study (bonescan) and it says "there is intense focal uptake and based on comparison there is indicating likely fibrous dysplasia."
One doc has described this as an "AREA OF INFLAMATION
(inflammation)" and has made no suggestions (what is inflamation
(inflammation) in this case mean?)
My questions to you is what should I do? I am lost really, should I go somewhere looking for surgical removal? (I would do anything to improve). I just need someone to tell me what to do, I can't do this alone. Please help, thank you
