brain tumor

Can radiation alone kill a tumor the size of a gulfball? It's a cancerous tumor. How long can large tumors sit dormat before it finds a blood source?

Very, very pertinent information is missing from the post. First of all, we need to know where the tumor is: brain, spinal cord, nerve, or outside of the neurologic system. Second, the type of tumor is important: meningioma, astrocytoma, oligodendroglioma, metastatic, etc... Third, if it is in the neurological axis, where exactly in the brain or spinal cord it is.  Unfortunately, I am unable to give any kind of educated answer without more info.
