                                                                                                               Visakhapatnam,
                                                                                                                14/08/2008.

        Sir,

I(Sivaprasad)  staying Visakhapatnam  in AndhraPradesh. I felt giddy two times
In 2007 when I am bicycling. Then  by taking water becomes normal. And
Some times I felt in new place by fraction of Minutes. Then after it becomes
               Normal.

So I met concerned doctor. According to his suggestions I am taking
               Medicines as follows,
                        DICORATE-ER(1gm)  from July2007 to Januaruy 2008.(6months)
                                                                                                 In night time
                        Cobaluit-plus  Day time

DICORATE –ER(750mg) from January 2008 to July 2008.

                       DICORATE-ER(500mg)   from August

MRI SCAN  REPORTS taken on feb 1

MRI OF BRAIN (limited study) performed:
Protocol:  FSE T1, FSE T2&FLAIR     -AXIAL
                                          FSE T2                                  -SAGITTAL

Brain stem and cerebellum are normal.

There is a well defined ribbon like curvilinear  lesion  measuring
Approximately 1.8*1.0cms in relation to the posterior body and splenium
Of  the corpus callosum. It is hyperintense on T1W,T2W and FLAIR
Images. The corpus callosum is normal in structure and signal intensity.

Rest of the  cerebral parenchyma is normal.  No middle shift is present.

Sellar, parasellar and orbital structures are unremarkable.

No extra-axial fluid collections are seen.

Mild mucoperiosteal thickening is visualized in bilateral ethmoid air cells.

IMPRESSION:Features are suggestive of a posterior corpus callosum lipoma.

MRI SCAN  REPORTS taken on jul 25

                                                   MRI SCAN  REPORTS

                                                                                                          July 25,2008
    MRI OF BRAIN performed:
                        Protocol:   FSE T2&FLAIR     -AXIAL
                                          FSE T2 & FSE T1  -SAGITTAL

Brain stem and cerebellum are normal.

There is a well defined T1 W, T2 hyperintense lesion along the distal body and splemium of  the corpus callosum measures about 3.1 cms APX1.4cms MLx1.3 cms CC. this lesion is suppressed on T1 W/FAT SAT sequences confirming its fatty nature.

This lesion   is closely abutting and predominantly located along the inferior and posterior aspect of the distal    body and splenium of the  corpus callosum .

Anteriorly, this lesion extending upto the fornix along the inferior aspect of the corpus
Callosum.

The cerebral  gray and white matter shows normal. MR morchology and signal intensity pattern.

Bilateral  basal ganglia, thalami, brain stem and caredellum are normal.

Ventricular system, basal  cisterns and other CSF spaces are normal.

Pituitary gland is normal.

Major  intra cranial vascular flow voids are normally maintained.

Soft tissues of face and orbit are normal.

Mild bilateral maxillary and ethmoidal  sinusitis is noted.

Impression:
• Features are consistent with corpus callosal lipoma along the distal body and splenium of the corpus callosum extending along the inferior aspect upto the level of the fornix anteriorly.
• Mild bilateral maxillary and ethmoidal sinusitis.

I does not no the path in a proper way. So please kindly  give me of yoursuggestions to cure. And it is necessary  I  will meet you .I am waiting for your good reply as early as possible

                                                                                                    Thanking you.

Hi,

How are you?
Corpus callosal lipoma is a rare congenital condition and is not regarded as a true tumor which is most often asymptomatic although it can cause headaches, epilepsy and dementia.
Prognosis depends upon the associated malformation. Surgery has not been found of use and they are usually left alone.
I would suggest you to consult an experienced neurologist about it. Take care!
