I hit the right side of my head on the fridge door 3 days ago and now the whole side of my head on that side is numb.  What could be causing the numbness.  i do have neurological problems and the drs. feel that i have vasculitus of the small veains

Hi there.

The trauma that you had three days ago would have caused some inflammation in the area, or possibly some blood collection called hematoma, that could affect the nerves going through that area.  This can lead to some numbness, discomfort, and pain in the areas affected.  However, if the severity of the symptoms are not congruent with the intensity of the trauma, then I agree with your doctors that you can have other problems.  If you have vasculitis, this will make the blood vessels fragile and even minor traumas can cause some serious damage to the area affected.  I suggest that you show this to your doctor and for now, avoid other forms of trauma as much as possible.  Regards and God bless.

Hi my uncle was in a bad car accident about 10 months ago. He has frontal and temporal brain trama. He is a complete different person with mamoery loss and his anger is out of control. He got into some truble with a bad check but cant really remeber the whole story to the check and now introuble with the law. How do i help how do i ask the judge to send him to a traumatic brain injury rehabilitation facility. does anyone know of a place like this in california, close to San diego.  also he has no money to his name because the lawer dropped his case because the drunk driver that hit him has nothing to his name and my uncle will get nothing from what he has been throu. Help i need a name to a rehad for brain injury asap. thanks
