bump on forehead for years

Hi there! I have had a bump on my forehead since i was a child. last thing i remember that caused it to be there is i ran into a steel pole in daycare one day, causing a huge egg to form on my forehead. they put ice on it and basically said i was fine. im 31 years old and still have the bump. ive had xrays and ct scans, etc on it.. and all the dr could say was it was scar tissue or something like that ontop of my skull? i always get headaches and during drastic weather changes it is painful as well. i wasnt too concerned then cause they said surgery would just be for cosmetic reasons. now there has been a smaller bump near the larger one showing up. they are both on my right side, forehead area. its not hard to miss in pictures. i just want to know if theres another answer to this..what it is. and if i should be concerned. thanks.

thanks Dr! but the lumps are not skin lumps they found them to be attached to the skull, like calcified bumps. they are hard as a rock like bone itself.

Hi, Thank you for your question. Usually, asymptomatic single or multiple lumps on body for so long years could be a fat accumulation at the sites as lumps, normally called as lipoma and may appear due to hereditary. This may also compress nerves and can cause symptoms. Although it hardly changes its shape or grow, but it will be best to get this evaluated with the help of a skin specialist to understand any possibility of infection or other reasons. Hope this helps.
