burning pain in thigh and shin, now arms & face

burning pain in thigh and shin, now arms & face

my pain began at age 40 and was in both legs and hip but left leg was more severe.  i took aleve but eventually it became so bad that i could not sleep.  i was walking 3-6 miles each day.  i had mri & xrays, & dr says some spinal stenosis. took the 6 pack anti-inflamatory and 6 weeks of physical therapy.  i was sent to pain mgmt.  they injected cortisone 3 different times which took away the pain but always returned and caused pain in my lower back.  they did a radiofrequency ablation.  at first i didn't think it worked but now i think it did relieve a lot of pain on the left leg.  my right leg pain became more severe.  i was having sciatic pain as well.  i would get burning pain in shin & severe tightness feeling and severe muscle pains in the thigh.  it goes away when resting for several hours or overnight. an hour on my feet and the pain starts again.  i started acupuncture treatments last August which has helped a lot.  the pain moves around my body and always returns -- sometimes leg, feet, shin, thigh, arm, hip and back.  i went on vacation for 10 days and after 5th day i was in extreme pain and nothing seems to work.  acupuncture when i return gave me great relief.  i am now 42 and i still have pain most days and lately i have also had the muscle pain in my arms and face.  its excruciating some days with simple touch and other days i feel good.  i started a weekly routine of massage(wed) and acupuncture(sat) and it allows me to live without taking pain medication however i still feel pain many days a week.  if i stop acupuncture the pain always returns. a few weeks ago i had an Arterial Blood Flow Study of the legs and everything was normal.  i was tested for arthritis, lupus, complete blood work and all negative.  is there anything else they could test for?  they ruled out raynauds as well.  acupuncture treatment is the only way i survive.  if anyone has any suggestions i would appreciate any help you can provide.  i am a true believer in acupuncture but i would like to get back my life!

Have you tried inlayers in your shoes? This a gradual process that levels out your back and hips.  It is painful on the feet at first but gradually you get relief. Try it ! It helped me tremondously.
