I am a 49 year old male and I have a painfulPainful menstrual periods burning sensation over my butt and over my back along my wast also at times between my legs.I have no marks and was checked by a Dermatologist who was unable to understand where the pain is coming from. I have taken a algery med but it is not revling the pain. It hurts more when I sit ot lie down also when clothes tutch my skin. This is very painfulPainful menstrual periods and is interfearing with my day to day life. I need help asap because right now Iam very uncomfortable and have a hard time even going to sleep.
Burning sensation is a common symptom if your sensory nerves are irritated. There is either compression of the nerves at the spinal level, or there is some form of neuropathy.
Have you checked you blood sugar ? This is to rule out Diabetic neuropathy.
Do you recall hurting your back ? Getting an MRI of the back will be helpful. And you should also consult a Neurologist soon.
