burning sensation

by sonnysingh, May 27, 2009 02:18AM
My father is 85 years old. For the past 4 to 5 years he has this burning sensation that starts under his feet. It used to be confined to legs but now it goes up his whole body, He has seen 2 neurologists and they have prescribed him neurontin - 6 tabs daily. But this does not help him. He feels miserable. Could you please help?

What he has is inflammation. I too get these burning sensations all over my body without diagnosis, I found a book that talked about living with inflammation and it suggested trying ginger to combat the feeling. It works wonders for me. I eat some type of ginger every day and it keeps it at bay.
