burning stinging sesation

I have a burning stinging sensation all over my body. I have been treated for an allergic reaction with prednisone an antihistimines for two weeks .
this has brought no relief. They ordered lab work which so far shows nothing. In the mean time I am about to go crazy. I can hardly funtion the pain is so great. Please help.

It is hard to imagine any single neurologic process (stroke, infection, migraine, tumor, medication toxicity, seizure, traumatic injury, etc) which would produce whole-body burning. I gather from what you have written that the allergic reaction to something has been what triggered this.
I'm afraid we can't give specific treatment advice about pain management or any other symptom on this forum. I hope you are able to get some answers directly from your doctor.
