calcification

by mandysmom, Oct 11, 2007 08:57PM
My daughter aged 28 is developmentally disabled and has agenesis of the corpus callosum and colpocephaly. On a recent catscan, it was noted that she has coarse calcification along the medial aspect of the left parietal lobe, but that the medical significance is unknown. We discovered these abnormalities because we were attempting to find out why she is having increasing gait dysfunction. Is there anything known about what this so called calcification means or even what might cause it.
