calf pain, muscle spasms, and twitching

I have been having muscle spasms in my calf so extreme that I wake up screaming. I usually have to walk it off. However the calf pain is an everyday occurence. I also have twitching in my eyelids, and arm pain that feels like muscle tightness I've had ultrasounds done on my legs, bloodwork showed vitamin d, calcium, magnesium defficiencies so I take vitamins daily, still no help. went to neurologist and had a emg and ncs results were normal doctor said. I can't stand the pain anybody have any idea as to what this could be?

Hello, I also suffer from muscle spasms that are quite debilitating and have done so for over the past 2 years.  Finally I have a very good neurologist looking into what could be the cause.  Mine have progressed into my thighs and grion area.  I would suggest if the vitamins have not helped the matter that you continue to push you doctor on the subject.  Muscle spasms can be caused by many different things and there are some medicines that can help.  I take Tizanadine every day to control mine, however, there are all kinds of things that can help.  Ask your doctor about what can be done and what could be causing your problems.  I really hope this helps as I can relate to what you are going through.
