can a child of 10 years old have seizures because of early puperty?

my granson at 10 years old started puperty now he started to have seizures. they did brain scans and no tumor ,nothing the doctor said by the time he is done growing he will be 6' 5   can growing to fast  in spurts cause him to have his seizures. now that he is having seizures the lack of sleep will trigger it or exhausted. He never had seizures before until he start going thru puperty at age 10.                                 thank you,

Without the ability to examine and obtain a history from your grandson, I can not tell you what the exact cause of the symptoms is. However I will try to provide you with some useful information.

Depending on the seizure description, seizure circumstances, and EEG findings, the seizure could be a number of possibilities. To answer your question about early puberty and seizures, seizure can be a symptom. Other findings may include hypothalamic tumors/cysts or inflammatory conditions. Lab work that may be abnormal include LH or testosterone level. If abnormal, further imaging is necessary. This would include an MRI of the brain with contrast. Imaging of the adrenals and gonads may also be helpful.  

I recommend that your grandson be evaluated by a pediatric neurologist. Different seizures can occur at different ages and some need treatment and others are considered benign. New onset seizures need to be worked up appropriately.
