can i fly with pseudotumor cerebri?

can i fly with pseudotumor cerebri?

I recently found out there is a chance I have pseudotumor cerebri (too much fluid in the brain)  I cannot get into the neurologist yet, but I have a trip planned for about a week and a half from now.  Does flying cause problems with this- especially since at this point it is untreated as I have not gotten into the neurologist yet

any advice would be great- thanks!

Hi.I have IIH/PTC and have flown several times with out a problem.I also have a VP shunt and the same.I did find ear plugs did help with the cabin pressure on taking off and landing but dont know if this has anything to do with PTC. If you want to chat, just drop me a line.I m kinda been there, done that! if it helps.Cath278.
