can steroids cause neuro prpblems

I have a appt with a neurologist all the way in December and hope maybe I can get a answer here. I have been pretty ill with mostly neuro symtoms (symptoms) for almost three years now that started with a shot of steroids. The er thought I was having a allergic reaction to antibiotics. About twenty minutes after the shot all my neck muscles felt extremely tight and had alot of ear pressure, and very bad vertigo, which has not gone away. I constantly have a feeling or sensation that I'm am shaking, or at other times rocking but am not. I had a positive test for lyme after searching for answers after two years. The igm was positve but not the igg. It was cdc positve however. I had alot of other bloodwork done not showing any infections now, but past infections. I did have a 2 month antibiotic treatment with doxycycline and rifmantin. I still have pain throughout my body, heart palps, and the vertigo shaking feeling, and brain fog. None of which makes sense to me cause it all started with the shot of steroids. I had none of these symtoms (symptoms) till 20 minutes after the shot. I also produce breast milk, and have numbness in face hands and feet, I also at times feel like I cannot get air but am. Any help is needed ty
