capillary telangiectasia

capillary telangiectasia

Recently, a neurologist detected me a capilary tellangiectasia in the brain stem. I am a marine biology student and also a diver; my question is: will it affect the capilary telangiectasia in some way if I go diving?is there some treatment for this?what's the difference between telangiectasia and a cavernoma?a doctor friend of the family suggested me the gamma knife treatment but i'm not sure if it is the correct procedure in my case?. I also present from time to time intermittent headaches in no specific location, they almost always last 1 or 2 minutes, sometimes even seconds. These headaches always come along with a sharp/stab pain. I'm worried that because of this telangiectasia i can not continue diving.  If you could please help me, I would be very grateful with all of you. Thanks, in advance.
