cataplexy and body vibrations

i am 25 years old. work out 3x per week, eat fairly healthy

i have two major symptoms i am concerned about
first being what i have self diagnosed as cataplexy. over the past 2 year i have noticed when i have a severe mood change which usually is laughing i experience overall body weakness, my knees buckle, i drop anything i'm holding,my face spasms, i cant hold my neck up and i have been latley experiencing double vision. this is so extreme that i am concerned about having another child due to the fact that if i am holding the baby and i laugh i will loose muscle function and drop it.
secondly when i am falling asleep i can only describe the sensation as internal vibrations, i feel my heart palpatations and my whole entire body tingles and experiences vibrations from inside including my scalp and chest. it happens every time i fall asleep and is a very disturbing and scary feeling when it happens.

HI, im am 21 and was diagnosed wih narcolepesy and cataplexy Dec. 2010. I have the same symptoms as you. I have been taking Xyrem since Febuary, and my (attacks) have not improved that much. The double vision thing...i cant explain. I myself, my vision gets very blurry and feels like my eyes are rolling around in circles. I have been dealing with the viberation in the body upon laying down for a while now. It was an every night thing but now it happens about 3 times out of week. It is a very scary feeling, but it will grow on you. Good Luck
