cavernous hemangioma

cavernous hemangioma

I am a 50 yr old female. I was born with a Cavernous Hemangioma (of the abdominal wall) that required surgery when I was 3. Surgeon removed a tumor the size of a softball. He apparently left the vein behind. Since I have had 2 surgeries for internal bleeding, both to the colon. I went to the Dr last August of 2008, got a CAT scan done. The vein has returned with a vengence. It is attached to my liver and travels to my colon down my left flank. It is also attached to the left ovary with had a cyst on it that has ruptured. I have contacted numerous Vascular surgeons. All that have told me that the vein is to large to remove safely. I have the CAT scan image if anyone needs to see it. I am desperately seeking a Dr. to help me. IF anyone knows of a Dr. please post the information...Theresa
