cervical burning

On 11/03/98 I had cervical fusion (c5-6) with cadaver
bone.  I was doing fine until about two weeks after
surgery I started to get a burning in my neck and some
pain in my shoulder muscles and down my right arm.  It is
now almost six weeks after surgery and the burning is
getting worse.  My doctor put me on neurontin last week
but I feel no relief from it.  This week he upped the
dosage from 100 mg  to 200 mg 3 times a day.  He said I was fine and he would order x-rays next month.  I am really worried about the burning since it seems no one else has had it.
