cervical fusion recovery

I had cervical decompression and anterior fusion surgery 11/16/07.  My recovery has been pretty good.  My x-rays show good fusion.  However I am now experiencing similar pain in my neck, shoulder and upper arm just like before my surgery.  I have been fairly pain free since my surgery so this is very scary.  Any ideas on what this is?

I'M SCHEDULED FOR CARPAL TUNNEL SURGERY 04/09/2010...HELP NOT SURE IF ITS RELATED TO NECK INJURY

Hi I have also had the same surgery in 12/2007. I never really had too much relief of symptoms and 2 months after surgery was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. Also 3 months after surgery my MRI shows new disc herniation. I don't want to have another surgery so I am in pt and going to have a spinal steroid injection in a few weeks. Has anyone had that done if so can you tell me what to expect?

My husband had this surgery on 1/20/08 and is having the same problems including the hand numbness/tingling/burning.  Have you had any luck getting any answers? My husbands doctors have no clue on this right now.
