what is the meaning of hypertrophic spurring C5 and C7 and bilateral neural foraminal encroachment in laymen please help iam confuse  thanks alot

Hi.

It basically means that because of a degenerative disc process, such as arthritis, there is bone spurring at your cervical spine level C5 and C7 and this might be encroaching on the foramens (areas where nerves and blood vessels pass through the spine) which might cause symptoms in a patient.
