cervical spondylosis , C4-7 mild thecal indentation due to disc bulge

I am 55 yrs old male my recent MRI without contrast shows
alignment and curvature normal
spondolytic changes noted
unconvertebral hypertrophy seen at c5-6 on the right side and c6-7 on left side narrowing the corrresponding neural foramina
disc bulges at c4-7 causing mild thecal indentation
canal measurements within normal limits
cervical cord of normal thickness and signal intensity
complaints :Persistent pain in the neck and shoulder area&on the left side of the chest and some times pain on the left side of the head being felt.
Kindly suggest remedies, causes and solutions. Will I have to go for 64 OR 128 Slice CT Scanning for, Cardiac,Neck and Brain to rule out for any block in flow of blood, tumour etc.,

Hello Dear,
Spinal stenosis results from progressive narrowing of the central spinal canal and the lateral resesses.
Narrowing of the neural foramina of the spine, mainly cervical and lumbosacral, due to degenerative hypertrophy of the bony cartilaginous structures that delineate their contour.
Osteophytes and uncovertebral or degenerative joint hypertrophy, are the main cause of stenosis .
Bone spurs, or osteophytes, are bony projections that form along joints and cause narrowing or stenosis of the spinal cord.

The only treatment apart from the NSAID,anti convulsant medications includes physiotherapy., the use of a TENS machine or acupuncture. Each of these may be of benefit, depending on individual circumstances. Ensure that you persevere with the B12 injections. You should consult a neurologist and there seems no need for other tets.
