chest vibrations

I have read the common chest pain feeling like a cell phone analogies and need some advice. I came to Saudi Arabia as a consultant from the US and brought a cold with me. The dust in the air here really aggravated the cold causing it to last longer and also to cough more harshly. I have just finished this cold and the coughing has persisted until recently. Just 2 days ago I started feeling this chest vibration, left side. I have not yet been to a doctor. I did not know if it was a temporary result to the coughing trauma (maybe I coughed too hard, I did one time and severely felt pain in the top of my head). Now after my reading it may or may not be related. The mucous in the lung issue sounds possible and maybe a wild focus (foci). I have been waiting for someone to clearly identify this malady who may have had successful diagnosis and treatment. The chest xray sounds to me like a first step and then the ECG. I am listening. I still have occasional coughing and I have attributed it to the dust in the air (although no one else is coughing). My guess now is they are related.
