chin twitching and head pain

chin twitching and head pain

I have had some chin twitching - like an involuntary dimpling of the chin off and on (for a week or so, every two weeks) for about two months - sometimes this will occur several times/day. I also occasionally have a very pinpointed headache or throbbing in the general area behind my right ear. This strange type of headache is also just occassional. What could cause these symptoms and what does it mean? Should I get a CT scan to rule out a tumor? I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism a year ago and am taking 60mcg of Armour, otherwise I'm a healthy 39-year old female. Any advice?
