chronic microvascular ischemic disease

by bruja140, Apr 01, 2009 12:51PM
I am a 63 year old woman, working full time, while having lunch with my peers I fainted and was taken to the hospital after having a ct-scan and an mri done I was told I had chronic microvascular ischemich disease but that those changes were related to my age and the diabetes.  No medication was given or recomended, I was told to take an 81mg aspirin daily and to have my diabetes under control.
I want to know how can I prevent another incident from happening, what can I do?

Thank you ve ry much for your info.
