Does a chronic subdural hematoma give more signs than persistant headache if dangerous fast, let say about two months?

Hi there.

Chronic subdural hematoma is not something that can be prevented after a head injury.  It all depends on the amount of force or impact of the trauma.  The most that can be done is to have imaging studies done after the trauma, and several weeks or months after the incident (if still with persistent symptoms like headache, preferential weakness, etc.) to make sure that everything is really clear.  A complete neurological evaluation after the incident can also point out if there is anything abnormal.

Hope this helps. Regards.
