Hi,
Compressive myelopathy  basically refers to destruction of spinal cord tissue which are  caused by pressure from neoplasms, haematomas, or other masses. It would be advisable to undergo surgery.

Hi.

It is advisable to undergo the operative procedure, as it gives the best results.
Other non-surgical methods may give temperory relief, but will not cure the condition.

Hope this helps.
