congenital syphillis(syphilis) and neuro problems

what all neurological problems are caused by congenital syphillis (syphilis)? is neural deafness caused by it treatable or controllable?will it cause slight mental reatardation, behavioral problems and learning disability?
i have peg laterals teeth,hepatomegaly,slight neural deafness diagnosed ?what shall i so now at age of 22?
is it possible my younger sibling also have congenital syphilis ?
