connection

I have posted a long time ago and no one sure what i have so i will try again.  My strange, I'll call it stuff, started happening about 3 yrs ago.  I one day started looseing my skin sensation.  It started at my scalp and processed down my body for about 4 months until now i only feel certain parts of my skin.  Needless to say my sex life went down the tubes.  Touch is a wonderful part of that.  Then about 2 yrs ago i started having strange feeling at night.  I would wake and there would be colored lights and tingling for a few seconds and then i would fall back to sleep.  No one thought anything of it. Maybe mirgraines is what the doc said.  She put me on Topamax.  Then suddenly after 6 months i started to fall and loose all muscle control.  I could hear and see everything and everyone around me but i could not move.  I didn't even know if i was breathing.  My husband freaked out.  At first it lasted about 3 minutes and then i would slowly regain control of my muscles and be able to get up.  Doc then thought maybe seizures.  Seizure test nothing showed up.  So kept happening.  Doc decide to do cataplexy test with nacrolepzy.  Showed have sleep apnea, not bad, but no Cataplexy put on breathing machine at night.  Must admit wasn't sleeping well.  But no has told me what all this might be from.  I had all the test in the book.  Maybe not the rare ones, but everything else.  I was just wondering if anyone might have some direction to check in.  I really thought it was catapexy.  one doc told me i coulod have cataplexy without nacroplsy but no one followed up on that.  Does anyone have a clue?

Hi i just got diagnosed with cataplexy after 10 years of wondering what was wrong with me it to alot to deal with it all but you will find the answers you need

Hi just thought i would share some of my symptoms with you. I  have patches or spots all over my body that i cant feel from time to time. I am extreamley tired alotm, i also had breathing problems at night,sometimes i can hear and see some things around me but,cant respond my eyes water,and my memmory ***** bad.I would think you need to see a neuroigest maybe you are haveing seizures. Sometimes i feel as if im going to die i think its anxity.I cant watch tv because i cant keep up if i read a book i can read it later its like its new to me.I get dizzy alot,sometimes i can smell or taste something strange that isnt there.good luck hope you get a good dr soon.
