constant dizziness, fatigue, headaches for 1 year

constant dizziness, fatigue, headaches for 1 year

I am 20 years old, female, with no past health problems. I have been constantly dizzy for nearly a year. It is not a spinning sensation and does not get worse or better with movement. Just constant and unwavering for a year. Sometimes the dizziness feels like I see things moving that are actually stationary, and sometimes like lightheadedness. I have trouble concentrating on things with the dizziness. Coupled with the dizziness is severe fatigue, I am constantly tired and it's very hard to get out of bed in the morning and make it through the day. I also have a nearly constant, mild headache in the back of my head. Headache and dizziness become worse with exercise, the headache becomes stabbing at times. I have had an MRI and MRA, and the only abnormality was a vein in the back left of my head that is very large for a vein. EEG was normal, bloodwork showed high levels of epstein-barr virus (I have had mono in the past, the Dr. said I could have chronic epstein-barr virus). Hearing test was very good.

do you exercise or do sports? it may be that your body is getting tired and lazy.. For example if you just watch tv or sit all day without any exercise throughout the day your body gets weak. Also you may have low blood sugar.. check it

hi
I am 22 and have been experiencing persistant lightheadedness for about a year now. I also experience chronic fatigue that makes it hard to function during the day. I have had so many differents test done to figure out what this is, but everything always comes back normal.  I know how frustrating it is to deal with. keep up hope and keep it posted if you learn anything new on you're condition, and i will do the same.
hang in there

i am 20 years old stuck in the same situation. I have had headaches (especially during exercise), dizziness when standing up or bending over, feelings of fatigue constantly...etc. I have played sports my entire life so to have this for 8 months now has been incredibly disheartening. I have had an mri and everything comes back normal. someone recommended acupuncture, but i'm not sure what that would do for feeling so lethargic all the time. what type of blood test did you do?

Hey

Im a 17year old male who has had the same symptoms of feeling dizzy and with headaches every minute of every day for over 6 years now. I can relate to how you feel, it makes it hard to do the things that i used to do. So far i have been unsuccesful in finding a cure. I have, like you, tried many differents methods of finding a solution. one thing i could recommend if you are tired of doing test and trailling medication is to see a pyschologist so that you can learn ways to try and mentally overcome the pain.

Thought i would leave a comment so we are able to feedback on different things that have been tryed and possible things that have had some sort of benefit.

I have come across a very short benefit from attending osteopathy to relive tension in the muscles in my neck and shoulders, this doesnt last very long at all but could a another thing for you to try? it may work longer for you?

Thanks!
