hi ive been experiencing awfull nervy like pain from my back round my ribs on the left side...the pain attacks can last from minutes to being on and off all day....when i have a really bad attack i literally roll around on the bed in pain in tears..the pain is like an electric current...i get really bad sweats and i feel sick and have at times felt like im gunna pass out..wen it passes i feel tired and exhausted..my gp wont send me for a scan...hes refer me bk to rhumatology for investigations....i have been suffering this for almost 8yrs now....i was diag with fibromyalgia last yr...thou a letter from my rhuem doc said it was intercostal pain..wat can be done to find out exactly wat it is...many thanx....im fem 40yrs....
