crainiotomy

Hi i had a crainiotomy in 2007 for an unruptured aneurysm, even after 3 years my right side of my forehead and my right eyebrow dont move, this is getting more noticable as when i am tired the eyelid drops down even more, is there any surgical proceedures that can be done to correct this as it is getting worse??

Hi, Thank you for your question. It might be a nerve damage leading to ptosis (drooping of eyelid). I would suggest consulting an ophthalmic surgeon in this regard since ptosis can be corrected by surgery if this is interfering in vision or for cosmetic concern. Eyelid muscles that help in elevation & lowering down the lid may be surgically corrected by the procedure after surgeon assesses the status. Hope this information proves helpful to you. Take Care & Regards!!!
