cystic lesion

I was diagnosed with left cerebellum cystic leasion and a arachnoid cyst that measures 3.3x1.8cm. I am trying to find out information what I should do about this. I had a spinal tap done and it didn't help all the doctor wants to do is put me in phyiscal therapy and keep me on more medications. I take 6 different pain pills at night for my headaches.  This is getting worse and is making it hard for me to walk. The pain is so sharp that it makes me fall to the ground. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. I am not sure if I should have another doctors opinion on this or keep on going and staying on so much medications.

Cystic lesions, such as arachnoid cysts, that are small in size are not usually treated surgically unless there is significant pressure on vital brain areas leading to progressive symptoms.  Since your symptoms seem to be progressing and the present treatment is not achieving the desired results, it might be beneficial to have a second opinion from a specialist, in this case, a neurologist.
