daily severe headaches

I dont know what to do any more. I have daily headaches that are so severe all I can do is stay in bed. This has been going on for almost a year now. I have had mri's lumbar punctures and blood work done and they dont know why I am having these headaches. Also on top of the headaches I am now having tremors which started four months ago. I can be holding something and for no reason drop it. I am tired all the time so much that i dont want to get out of bed in the mornings and often dont on the weekends. I just know its not normal I have never felt like this in all my life. One doctor told me it was ms but then my test come back normal. If someone could please give me any information on what it could be i would greatly appreciate it. As i have three daughters and would like to be around for them. I want to watch them grow older but latley i dont feel that is going to happen my head hurts so bad i feel like it might explode . thank you karin

Thank you for the advice but the doctors have already put me on medicine for migranine and it didnt help i dont drink caffeine at all anyways so its not that and the headaches happen all the time not just during my menstrual cycle. I have already done every thing you suggested so i dont think that is it. thank you for the advice though

Hi katie.  I am so sorry.  I used to suffer from such terrible headaches, years ago (I am 51).  In those days, they didn't do much.  Have you tried any preventive medications?  I know they have them now, also there are migraine drugs on the market that they didn't have years ago which work very well.

Have you seen your gynecologist?  My headaches were related to my menstrual cycles, I think they call them menstrual migraines.  Also, do you drink a lot of caffeine?  If you cut down on the caffeine, then when you get used to this, just have a cup when you get the headache, it will help.  Also, try exercise or something like yoga or pilates.

The other thing I can think of is allergies.  Do you have any allergies to things like mold, dust, pollen, pet dander?  That could definitely cause headaches also.

As far as the tremors, they could just be from anxiety because you don't feel well.  I'm not a doctor, but I have had a lot of headaches in my life.  Now that I am in menopause, I rarely get them anymore.  Good luck, I hope you get better.
