dazed

I have not been feeling well lately. i have had bouts on confusion. i forget what i am saying in the middle of thought. i find myself swaying my head from front to back. i have had to pull over along the road for awhile because it has happened driving. In the past 4 months i have been in the emergency room for dizzyness along with chest pains and just not feeling myself. the Dr would treat me for a heart attack because something in my count was raised. the first time was followed by the stress tet and all. i was sent home. i went back again and stressed to them about my dizziness and they did a cat scan but they said it looked alright and my dr never called to say anything was wrong. I do have an arachnoid cyst toward the back of my head and 2 years ago the dr said it was not symptomatic. where do i go from here. the dizziness and forgetful ness is wearing pretty thin on my life.

I do have some stress but nothing out of the norm. it is everyday stuff. The arachnoid cyst was discovered a couple years ago so i had it checked out again in january and it showed that it has grown but the neorologist said it was nothing to worry about and that was it. Like now, i am sitting at my desk swaying. I feel like as if i was boating all weekend and i now have to be on land. I feel as if i am in a dream. I also fing myself twitching every so often.

Hi.

Do you experience anxiety or emotional/psychological stress? Sometimes, symptoms of dizziness and confusion can be secondary to an anxiety disorder. If you believe that you might be suffering from an anxiety disorder, you could talk to a therapist to evaluate your condition.

When was the arachnoid cyst discovered? Were any recent imaging techniques done which also showed the arachnoid cyst? Arachnoid cysts normally present with symptoms of headache.  However, arachnoid cysts can sometimes present with symptoms of dizziness and memory impairment.

You should consult a neurologist to evaluate your symptoms.

i have had dizziness too...if you have low Blood Pressure, tell them to do a tilt table...also, sinus infections, middle ear infections cause problems...i had all three and passed out several times...very scary...since low blood pressure, i bought a BP moniter and when i feel dizzy i take my BP...if it is low, i eat more salt (sea salt)...also, my dizziness also was from anxiety...from the dizziness!!! one feeds the other!!!
