definition of a normal EMG test

i have for several years suffered neurological issues.  I have slurred speech periodically, numbness that started in my feet and moved all the way to the back of neck.  currently, the skin numbness comes with reduced or heightened sensations.i have reduced sensation in my feet, and fall often because i cant tell where my feet are in relation to my body.  i have lost sensation in my hands going so far as being able to rotate a hot log in the fireplace with fingers. i am now experiencing a sensation of weakness in both hands and a sensation of fatigue in both feet.

my blood work is normal, outside of an early 2008 test coming back with low vitamin D.  i have been taking vitamin D supplement for over a year, and a follow-up test showed an increase in the vitamin D levels into the normal range of 34 .   TSh levels are normal despite having nodules on my neck area.  when biopsied were clean.

i have white spots on my grey matter that developed about 8 years ago, but have not changed shape or size for several years.  I have joint pain in joints that have not been dx'd with arthritis.  my BP, cholesteroral, normal.  i had an car accident a few years ago, and have had three head injuries since age 10.  two of which i lost consciousness, and one from a car accident that was so bad, my forehead had swelled extensively.  my doctors at the time informed me my brain was swelling and it took several weeks for the swelling to dissipate.

my question is I had an EMG test performed a couple of weeks ago.  I was able to feel the electrical currents on top of the skin, however, nothing with the penetration of the needles. i could not feel the needles on my feet, legs, arms or hands, (all right side).  when following up with my physician, she said all people have neuropathy of the feet, (because we walk on them all day) and she deemed my EMG test results normal.  i know i had skin/needle sensation a few years ago because i had accupuncture done and found the needles on my feet unbelievably painful.  should i follow-up with another physician, or take her dx in a low vitamin D test that was taken over a year ago, and when the doctor doesnt feel a follow-up blood test would be worth the money.   i believe there is something wrong with me but after so much time and energy into testing with no results, not sure what the next step should be at this point?
