degenerative disk disease

I had two microdiscectomies to remove a herniated disk at L4-5, later I was told I have degenerative disk disease in
L3,4,5,S-1. I am still having chronic pain worst than before surgeries. My question is if my surgery on my L4-5 disk could cause that disk to become unable to bear weight since it has degenerative disk disease or dhould I look to my other disks for a pain generator. L3-4, L5-S1 two bulging disks
