diaphram paralysis

  I had been suffering from an herniated disc and was given a steriod block in
  Feb and again in Mar of 1998.  The pain from the injury slowly dissapated
  and in May, I discovered my right diaphram was paralized.  I am a non smoker
  and attempt to workout regularly but had not done so from the period of Mar
  to May because of the discomfort.  Could the steriod block be responsible
  for the paralysis and if so is there any remedy?  I am planning a conference
  with the doctor who performed the procedure.

Not enough information to really say. The information you need to seek is: (1) how was the diagphragmatic paralysis documented? (2) where was the disc herniation? (3) where was the steroid injection, (4) what was the time course (you did provide some detail about it here).
This is the infromation that should become clear as you seek a resolution to this problem.
